• It’s a plug with large outside thread, intended to hold onto drywall and hollow-core doors.
• Used for fixing light objects, such as small photo frames, towel racks or toilet paper dispensers, to drywall
• Can also be used to install objects to ceiling board.
• The object is then fastened by driving a screw into the drywall plug.
• Drywall plugs have self-drilling tips to drill into drywall.
• Can be installed with an electric drill/driver as well as a handheld Phillips screwdriver.
• Plastic drywall plug can’t drill into areas where there is a metal or wooden stud.
